1 Overview
AstroMitra ("AstroMitra", "we", "us"), operated by NextrendX, is a Vedic astrology application that calculates your precise birth chart (Kundli), provides daily horoscope (Rashifal) insights based on planetary transits, enables Kundli PDF exports, and lets you consult with an AI-powered Vedic astrology assistant (Astro Chat).
2 Information we collect
2.1 Information you enter

2.2 Information generated by the app
- Kundli ID — a unique, cryptographically random identifier generated when you create a Kundli. It links your device to your calculated chart and daily credit allowance without requiring personal login credentials.
- Calculated chart data — Ascendant, planetary coordinates (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu), Rashi, Nakshatra, Pada, House cusps, Navamsha (D9) chart, and Vimshottari Dasha periods.
- Daily Horoscope data — daily planetary transit readings, lucky numbers, lucky colors, and auspicious timings.
- Credit usage — daily question allowances and rewarded ad bonus counters, monitored by our server to prevent abuse.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Advertising & device data — collected directly by Google AdMob when banner or rewarded video ads are served (such as Google Advertising ID, device hardware model, OS version, and diagnostic events). See Section 5.
- Standard technical logs — our web servers may log standard HTTP request metadata (such as IP address, request timestamp, and response codes) strictly for security, rate-limiting, and error diagnostics.
2.4 What we do not collect
- No personal accounts, passwords, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- No real-time GPS location — your birth place is typed in manually by you; the app never requests GPS or location permissions.
- No access to your contacts, photo gallery, camera, microphone, or unrelated device files.
3 How we use your information
- To calculate and render your Vedic birth chart, Navamsha (D9) chart, and Dasha cycles using astronomical algorithms.
- To generate daily horoscope predictions based on current planetary movements.
- To answer your astrological questions in Astro Chat using your chart data and active transits.
- To allow you to export and save your Kundli report as a PDF document on your device.
- To manage your daily credits, question limits, and rewarded-ad credit bonuses.
- To deliver non-intrusive mobile advertising that supports ongoing development and server costs.
- To protect the service against security threats, automated spam, and server misuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4 AI-generated answers (Astro Chat)
When you ask a question in Astro Chat, our backend server constructs an astrological context prompt containing your question, a summary of your calculated birth chart, and current planetary transits. This context is forwarded to a trusted third-party AI provider (such as Google Gemini or Groq) to generate an answer grounded in classical Vedic principles.
- Your real name is not required for chat interpretation and is omitted from AI requests wherever possible.
- Please do not enter sensitive private information (such as bank details, government IDs, or sensitive medical records) into the chat.
- AI predictions may occasionally be inaccurate or speculative. Please see our Terms & Conditions for our full astrological and AI disclaimer.
- Your conversation history is stored locally in the private app storage on your device and can be cleared at any time from the app settings.
5 Advertising
AstroMitra uses Google AdMob to display banner ads and optional rewarded video ads that users may voluntarily choose to watch to earn bonus credits. In order to serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID), IP address, and general app interaction metrics in accordance with Google's privacy policies.

- You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Watching rewarded ads is always completely optional. Bonus credits are granted by our server only upon confirmed completion of the ad.
6 Third-party services

Astrological calculations are computed directly on our own servers using the Swiss Ephemeris astronomical library; your birth data is never transmitted to external third-party horoscope syndicates.
7 Storage & security
- On your device: Your Kundli ID is stored in encrypted secure storage (Android Keystore / Flutter Secure Storage). Cached charts and chat conversations are stored locally in the app's sandboxed storage.
- On our servers: Your birth details, calculated chart, and credit balances are stored in a secured database so your session remains accessible across app restarts.
- All network communication between the AstroMitra app and our API servers is conducted via encrypted HTTPS/TLS. AI API secret keys are stored exclusively on our secure backend and never exposed within the mobile app client.
While no transmission or storage method is completely impenetrable, we follow recognized industry standards to protect your data.
8 Retention & deletion
- In the app: Go to Settings → Delete Account / Kundli to instantly erase your Kundli ID, cached chart, and chat history from your device. You can also clear chat history independently via Settings → Clear Chat History. Uninstalling the app also purges all locally cached information.
- On our servers: Records associated with a Kundli ID that show complete inactivity for twelve (12) consecutive months are automatically scheduled for permanent deletion.
- Manual server deletion request: Because there is no email or password-based account, your Kundli ID is your only identifier. To request permanent deletion of your Kundli record from our servers immediately, email us at astromitra.contact@gmail.com with your Kundli ID (found in the app under Settings → My Kundli) and we will process the deletion promptly.
9 Your choices & rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under the EU/UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or applicable regional privacy laws), you have rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Correction: You can edit your birth details at any time from Settings → Edit Birth Details to recalculate your chart.
- Erasure: You can delete all local data directly within the app and request server-side record deletion as described in Section 8.
- Advertising control: You can reset or opt out of personalized ad targeting via your Android device settings.
- Inquiries: Contact our team at any time for data privacy questions or requests.
10 Children's privacy
AstroMitra is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal details through the app, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly delete the data.
11 Changes to this policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements or legal requirements. When updates occur, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Significant modifications will also be highlighted within the AstroMitra application. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes your agreement to the revised policy.
