1 Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NextrendX, the operator and provider of AstroMitra ("AstroMitra", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the AstroMitra mobile application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue using the application immediately.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use AstroMitra. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2 What AstroMitra provides
AstroMitra offers users a suite of traditional Vedic astrological tools and AI-driven consultation features, including:
- Kundli generation: Calculation of your Vedic (sidereal) birth chart, Ascendant (Lagna), 9 planetary positions (Grahas), 12 houses (Bhavas), Navamsha (D9) chart, and Vimshottari Dasha cycles calculated using the Swiss Ephemeris astronomical library.
- Daily Horoscope (Rashifal): Daily astrological guidance, transit analysis, lucky colors, lucky numbers, and auspicious timings for all 12 Moon signs (Rashis).
- Astro Chat: An AI-assisted conversational assistant capable of answering questions grounded in your calculated birth chart and active planetary transits.
- Kundli PDF Export: On-device generation, preview, and sharing of your Kundli summary reports.
- Daily credit system: A free daily question quota and optional rewarded video ad opportunities to obtain bonus credits.
We reserve the right to enhance, alter, pause, or retire features at any time to improve app quality and performance.
3 Astrology & AI disclaimer
- Astrological interpretations reflect cultural and traditional Vedic principles and are not scientifically proven facts. No prediction, forecast, or reading generated by AstroMitra is a guarantee of any future occurrence.
- Consultations in Astro Chat are generated by artificial intelligence (AI). While our algorithms provide context from classical astrological rules, AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, speculative, or inconsistent. Always exercise your own common sense and sound judgement.
- You should never make major life decisions regarding medical treatments, mental health, legal actions, marriage, investments, or physical safety based solely on insights provided by this application.
- If you are experiencing distress, severe anxiety, or a medical crisis, please immediately consult a qualified physician or your local emergency services.
4 Accuracy of your chart
- Birth charts depend directly on the precision of the details you enter. Inaccurate birth data will yield an inaccurate astrological chart.
- If you do not know your exact time of birth, the application assumes noon (12:00 PM) as a default. In this scenario, your Lagna (Ascendant) and house placements may be imprecise, and the chart will be marked as approximate.
- Birth places are resolved to coordinates and time zones via a third-party geographic lookup service (GeoNames). When entering your birth location, please provide clear city, state, and country names to avoid ambiguity.
- AstroMitra uses the widely accepted Lahiri Ayanamsa with the Whole-Sign / Vedic Bhavas calculation method. Variations in ayanamsas or house systems used by other astrologers or software may produce differing chart interpretations.
5 Daily credits & rewarded ads
- Each Kundli ID is granted a free daily quota of 50 credits (allowing up to 4 chat questions), which automatically refreshes every 24 hours.
- Once your daily allowance is exhausted, you may choose to watch an optional rewarded video ad to earn a bonus of 20 credits (up to 2 additional questions). This rewarded bonus can be claimed once per 24 hours.
- All credit allocations, balances, and question limits are calculated and validated server-side.
- Credits possess no real-world monetary value, cannot be converted into cash, transferred, exchanged, or refunded.
- We reserve the right to modify credit limits, question costs, or rewarded ad bonuses from time to time.
- Attempting to bypass credit ceilings or manipulate API calls is strictly prohibited.
6 No account — your Kundli ID
AstroMitra operates without requiring passwords or email registrations. Your session and chart data are linked to a unique Kundli ID stored securely on your device.
- If you uninstall the app, clear local storage data, or select Delete Account / Kundli in Settings, your local link is permanently removed.
- We encourage you to note your Kundli ID (located in Settings → My Kundli) if you wish to reference your chart across device migrations.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding your device and the accuracy of the information you input.
7 Acceptable use
When using AstroMitra, you agree that you will not:
- Use the application for any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, or malicious purpose.
- Input another individual's birth data without their consent, or use their chart to stalk or harass them.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app or backend APIs.
- Deploy automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to access the service or extract astrological content.
- Attempt to exploit, overload, DDoS, or disrupt our backend infrastructure or third-party AI endpoints.
- Attempt prompt injections or adversarial attacks designed to compromise the AI assistant.
8 Intellectual property
The AstroMitra brand, logo, icon, visual interface, artwork, backend calculation software, and original text are the exclusive property of NextrendX or its licensors and are protected under international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain full ownership of the exported charts generated from your own birth data for personal use.
9 Third-party services & advertisements
AstroMitra integrates with third-party service providers, including GeoNames (for geocoding), Google Gemini and Groq (for AI text generation), and Google AdMob (for advertising). We are not responsible for the availability, uptime, or privacy practices of these third-party services. Advertisements presented within the app are delivered by third-party advertisers; our display of such ads does not imply endorsement of advertised products or services.
10 Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
The AstroMitra application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no guarantee that the service will operate without interruptions or errors, or that any astrological prediction will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AstroMitra, its creators, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, or any reliance placed on astrological or AI-generated outputs.
11 Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the AstroMitra service or revoke a Kundli ID immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our API systems. You may terminate your relationship with AstroMitra at any time simply by deleting your Kundli from the app settings and uninstalling the application.
12 Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the AstroMitra application shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India, unless mandatory consumer protection statutes in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
13 Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective upon posting the revised Terms with an updated "Effective date". We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of AstroMitra following any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
